Koru House, New Zealand:
"Even as a child growing up in New Zealand, native grasses were my passion... they still are. This windy garden on the top of the North Island is designed around textures and surfaces. Grasses are placed on the top of stone walls and also fill pots specially designed for the garden. Succulent plants form a low maintenance desert garden mulched with coloured gravels. Water fills moats around the house creating a modern castle and the garden focuses on a beautiful sea panorama viewed across a chequer board moss terrace."
